Cultural Education in the NGO and GCDP team in the LC.

You will work in a school with another intern giving workshops and doing activities related to language teaching (mainly English, German and Portuguese are preferred). You are in charge of planning the activities according to the objective of each subject. Activities must be according to the ages of the participants of the project. (6 to 18 years old).

You will be responsible to plan and develop each workshop and activities you deliver, related to topics such as: tolerance, multiculturalism, team work, leadership, among others.

Prepare sports and creativity activities. Encouraging physical and artistic development. Activities such as sports tournaments, painting, dancing and acting activities.

AIESEC will provide housing and feeding and you are going to be hosted in an AIESEC member house or in a local family house. AIESEC won’t provide Transportation.

Our interns gain hands-on experience working with NGOs and small businesses in communities to develop relevant and culturally suitable solutions to local problems. Projects in this category may be in the fields of marketing, micro-finance, NGO management, social business, or organizational development.

The intern will work in an NGO . The intern will have a hand in pushing the NGO forward and making an impact on the society.

The intern will work in the NGO’s website management and development.

The intern must have design skills and understand how to enhance a website or enhance their advertisement.

Established in August 2012, Anti-harassment movement is a voluntary movement that works to combat all types and sorts of harassment and encroachment [Sexual/physical harassment – Mental/psychological harassment – Religious harassment] practices against any person. Anti-harassment movement is not related to or categorized based on any religious or political background basis. The movement works on battling all sorts of violation of freedom and humanity values, injustice and corruption in the social community, and all types of discrimination. Vision: We have a dream to fulfill. Our dream is to eradicate the corrupt and inhumane cultural values that are strongly established in the society. Who We Are: We are a team of volunteers from diverse age groups and backgrounds. We believe that equality is a right to every human, and we are against all sorts of corruption, discrimination, and inhumanity. Action Plan: Anti-harassment movement has a plan to combat each type of harassment across the coming years. We started with the 1st type of harassment: 1.Sexual harassment: •The movement strives to create a law that criminalizes sexual harassment in Egypt. •The movement presents events and workshops for the purpose of awareness about sexual harassment and its causes, in addition to sexual awareness workshops. •The intervention team of the movement –along with other organizations and movements– is available during the political demonstrations and the street gathering during feasts with the purpose of protecting the females against sexual harassment. •The movement also holds vigils to support their cause whenever needed. •The movement works in collaboration with other organizations and movements to produce events and projects that support the same cause of ending harassment.

Enter Your Future is a national project organized by AIESEC in Serbia. Through our project we have created a systematic educational program suited to elementary school students and high school students. Language workshops are planned with elementary school students, while the IT literacy workshops related to practical appliance of the skills obtained, are planned for high school students.

Children’s Village in Sremska Kamenica was built for children deprived of parent care, and it is based on the model of other Children’s Villages around the world and values of SOS Kinderdorf organisation. It was open in 1975 as 100th Children’s village but first in East Europe. Ever since then it remained the symbol of humanity and joyful childhood. Idea of the village is to be a warm home for children where trust, closeness and unconditional acceptance are appreciated and cherished.

The goal of the project is to give children an opportunity to spend their free time usefully and to teach them through a fun way about skills that will be useful for their further personal growth and life steps. In addition, to inform them about opportunities they have after school and to encourage them to think about how they can contribute to their community and its development.

Intern will help organize fund-raising events in order to present activities on the project and also raise money for charity, clothes, school supplies and etc.

Club Alpbach Belgrade (CAB) is a nonprofit, independent, non-governmental organization founded in December 2005 in Belgrade. Establishment and work of CAB is motivated by a true need of its members to take an active part in building and strengthening our country on its way towards European Union. They are young academics, professionals and students trying to shape the European present and future of Serbia and contribute to the development of leaders in various fields such as law, economy, politics, natural sciences etc. The ASSEI-B project follows the model, program and the lecturers of the Alpbach Summer School on European Integration, designed and organized by the European Forum Alpbach and the Institute of International Public Law, European Law and International Relations – University of Innsbruck. A progress in the EU integration process means a growing need for further education in this regard in SEE region. Also, there is a need for significant improvement of the cooperation between those countries. The project perceives regional cooperation and reconciliation as a precondition for EU integration. Recognizing this, ASSEI-B is built on two pillar-ideas:to enhance the knowledge about history, law, socio-economic integration and to encourage and initiate cooperation between youth of those societies, many of which have a history of conflicts and wars. Intern will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to define event goals, objective and specific implementation plans that will promote goals of the organization.

“IT-literacy” is a national project aimed on increasing the interest towards IT professions among school students, students and recent graduates; and increasing Russian IT technologies competitiveness on the world market.

The interns will do researches about the goals, their objectives, contexts and actions. Throughout the collected information they will prepare a material that can be used at the presentations and as a reference material. The kindergarten is part of the university, and gives opportunity not only to international, but Hungarian university students to have an internship.

Children should see English as fun. So you have to teach typical English songs, little poems and play with the kids, so they can learn without efforts.

Create group games with the aim of teaching them the ability to work in a team.You have to be patient, responsible, reliable, creative, cheerful.

Beside teaching, your job will also be taking care of the children. You have to help them if they have any problems (during eating, clothing, and so on).

Apart from teaching English, you can introduce your culture to them, and make them culturally more open and accepting.

Accommodation will be provided in a dormitory. Basic living conditions, e. g. separated bed, bed sheet, hot water, electricity, bathroom (shower and toilet), access to laundry and kitchen on each level, personal cupboard, internet connection and drinkable tap water are given.

The aim of the Magellan project is to give a complement to the Hungarian education by contributing to develop responsible, independent and entrepreneurial youth in Hungary. The stakeholders can develop both in hard and soft skills through an international environment thus enhancing cultural understanding and global mindset in the World.

Trainee will be responsible for developing workshops on a given topic. The topic of workshops “Creative Education” is about developing interests of students – culture, world issues, dancing etc. The schedule of workshops will be provided before starting the internship.

Trainees will be conducting workshops at schools for around 25 students aged 14-18 from Monday to Friday by preparing extra activities for students for example games, competitions, sports activities.

Accommodation is provided. The intern will be hosted in dormitory in Salgótarján, a beautiful town in the North of Hungary. Food: 3 meals per day will be provided by school during the week and by families during the weekends. They offer activities for weekends as well.

Teach the students some skills to make some handicrafts, you will help them to sell it out.Organize some activities such as collecting every child’s dreams,using their pictures to open an exhibition.

Find the issue and developing space of special education, and contribute yourself to make it better.

We will also organize Zhejiang university students or enterprise volunteers to the school Open Day, holding international volunteer activities, playing games with children.

Enter Your Future – national project organized by AIESEC in Poland, well-known and very popular project in Poland. In previous editions more than 300 trainees from different countries took part. The topic of workshops is about developing interests of students – culture, world issues, entrepreneurship as well as providing knowledge on the topics like history or science etc. Each trainee is obliged to attend preparation seminar organized by hosting Local Committee 5-7.09.2014 which is a special seminar for trainers.

Trainee will gain knowledge on how to conduct workshops at schools and get information about workshops content. The conference fee approximately 20$ – will be covered by the trainee. Also will develop autopresentation and training skills in order to work with students. Trainee will take part in Global Village during preparation conference and should be prepared for this event through bringing traditional clothes, food and beverages, brochures, gadgets as well as presentation about the country and any other useful materials. The schedule of workshops will be provided before starting the internship.

From 29.09.2014 to 12.10.2014 participants are free to travel. Accomodation, food etc. are not provided during that time.

From 08.09 till 02.11.2014 trainees in group of 2 or 3 will be conducting workshops at schools for around 25 students. In each school trainee will spend one week.

The topic of workshops is about developing students’ interest in languages through the workshops about culture, world issues, minitalks in English.

Food One hot meal during workshops at schools will be provided (only the days being in school). If needed intern will be given money to buy meal. Accommodation is provided. Trainee will stay with Polish families or in dormitory.The cost of transport beetwen cities will be returned, but returns will not include transporation in city of Białystok.

Enjoy My Origin is an national project of AIESEC in Poland targeted at children from primary schools (majorly 4-6th grade classes). The aim of the project is to show the children that it is worthy and beneficial to learn English as well as introducing them to the culture and habits of interns’ country of origin. Through the interactive workshops, interns will show their culture and improve children knowledge of basic words and English grammar. Topics of workshops will be connected with interns’ home countries.

Each trainee is obliged to attend preparation seminar organized by hosting Local Committee 1-7.09.2014 which is a special seminar for trainers. Trainee will gain knowledge on how to conduct workshops at schools and get information about workshops content. The conference fee (approximately 30$) will be covered by the trainee. If needed trainee should prepare extra activities for students for example games, competitions, sports activities. Trainee should take part in additional activities and events included in the project.

International School is the local project run by AIESEC Szczecin which is directed to teenagers in secondary schools and high schools.

We would like to give young students inspiration to be entrepreneurial, motivate them to do more, give them impulse to think and understand other cultures and the world around them much better.

Intern will conduct workshops in junior high and high schools in class of around 20 – 30 students. The topic of the workshops is about developing interests of studens – e.g.culture, traditions, history of intern’s country, world issues, entrepreneurship, science, etc.

It is a volunteer project. Its aim is to widespread cultural understanding, tolerance and respect for diversity thanks to work of great interns from different countries.

Volunteer will work from Monday to Friday for 6-8 hours but that duration is not the same at every school. Volunteer will change school every week. Volunteers will work in pairs.

Before arrival trainee is obliged to send us the presentation about topics which will be given at least 10 days before project’s starting date.

Children’s Village in Sremska Kamenica was built for children deprived of parent care, and it is based on the model of other Children’s Villages around the world and values of SOS Kinderdorf organisation. It was open in 1975 as 100th Children’s village but first in East Europe. Ever since then it remained the symbol of humanity and joyful childhood. Idea of the village is to be a warm home for children where trust, closeness and unconditional acceptance are appreciated and cherished.

The goal of the project is to give children an opportunity to spend their free time usefully and to teach them through a fun way about skills that will be useful for their further personal growth and life steps. In addition, to inform them about opportunities they have after school and to encourage them to think about how they can contribute to their community and its development.

Intern will help organize fund-raising events in order to present activities on the project and also raise money for charity, clothes, school supplies and etc.

They are young academics, professionals and students trying to shape the European present and future of Serbia and contribute to the development of leaders in various fields such as law, economy, politics, natural sciences etc. The ASSEI-B project follows the model, program and the lecturers of the Alpbach Summer School on European Integration, designed and organized by the European Forum Alpbach and the Institute of International Public Law, European Law and International Relations – University of Innsbruck. A progress in the EU integration process means a growing need for further education in this regard in SEE region. Also, there is a need for significant improvement of the cooperation between those countries. The project perceives regional cooperation and reconciliation as a precondition for EU integration. Recognizing this, ASSEI-B is built on two pillar-ideas:to enhance the knowledge about history, law, socio-economic integration and to encourage and initiate cooperation between youth of those societies, many of which have a history of conflicts and wars. The kindergarten is part of the university, and gives opportunity not only to international, but Hungarian university students to have an internship.

Children should see English as fun. So you have to teach typical English songs, little poems and play with the kids, so they can learn without efforts.

Create group games with the aim of teaching them the ability to work in a team.You have to be patient, responsible, reliable, creative, cheerful.

Beside teaching, your job will also be taking care of the children. You have to help them if they have any problems (during eating, clothing, and so on).

Apart from teaching English, you can introduce your culture to them, and make them culturally more open and accepting.

Work with Chinese volunteers to promote scientific autism knowledge,experience with autism and your culture in schools and communities. Design forms and contents of this activities.

Take part in some charity sales in communities and shopping malls to raise money for autistic children’s education fund.Work in an international team to design promotion materials and sales strategy.

Work with other foreign volunteers to make a video about autism before sharing autistic knowledge in communities and schools.

Work together to invite more foreign experts to come to Zhuhai to hold a conference focusing on autism and public welfare.

Work in a farm and a camp with autistic children and embrace nature for several days.

Our EPs will spend their fabulous days in a school for retarded students.Be an organizer, a judger and a participant in the daily work and activity, play games with students and help them to socialize. And warm them with your love as well as patience.Show the students your culture, share your experience, such as sports,sightseeing,food,clothing,dance,etc.

Teach the students some skills to make some handicrafts, you will help them to sell it out.Organize some activities such as collecting every child’s dreams,using their pictures to open an exhibition.

Find the issue and developing space of special education, and contribute yourself to make it better.

We will also organize Zhejiang university students or enterprise volunteers to the school Open Day, holding international volunteer activities, playing games with children.

Lunch are provided. EPs can eat breakfast and dinner outside and it takes about 30RMB for breakfast and dinner.If the school’s dormitory is free, you can live in the school, otherwise we can help you to find a hotel which cost you 100-150 US/month.Or we can help you to find a homestay in Hangzhou.

Do some activities about environmental protection. The volunteers will go to outside with students to find some environment problems on weekend then solve the problems next week.

Enter Your Future – national project organized by AIESEC in Poland, well-known and very popular project in Poland. In previous editions more than 300 trainees from different countries took part. The topic of workshops is about developing interests of students – culture, world issues, entrepreneurship as well as providing knowledge on the topics like history or science etc. Each trainee is obliged to attend preparation seminar organized by hosting Local Committee 5-7.09.2014 which is a special seminar for trainers.

Trainee will gain knowledge on how to conduct workshops at schools and get information about workshops content. The conference fee approximately 20$ – will be covered by the trainee. Also will develop autopresentation and training skills in order to work with students. Trainee will take part in Global Village during preparation conference and should be prepared for this event through bringing traditional clothes, food and beverages, brochures, gadgets as well as presentation about the country and any other useful materials. The schedule of workshops will be provided before starting the internship.

From 29.09.2014 to 12.10.2014 participants are free to travel. Accomodation, food etc. are not provided during that time.

From 08.09 till 02.11.2014 trainees in group of 2 or 3 will be conducting workshops at schools for around 25 students. In each school trainee will spend one week.

The topic of workshops is about developing students’ interest in languages through the workshops about culture, world issues, minitalks in English.

Food One hot meal during workshops at schools will be provided (only the days being in school). If needed intern will be given money to buy meal. Accommodation is provided. Trainee will stay with Polish families or in dormitory.The cost of transport beetwen cities will be returned, but returns will not include transporation in city of Białystok.

Enjoy My Origin is an national project of AIESEC in Poland targeted at children from primary schools (majorly 4-6th grade classes). The aim of the project is to show the children that it is worthy and beneficial to learn English as well as introducing them to the culture and habits of interns’ country of origin. Through the interactive workshops, interns will show their culture and improve children knowledge of basic words and English grammar. Topics of workshops will be connected with interns’ home countries.

International School is the local project run by AIESEC Szczecin which is directed to teenagers in secondary schools and high schools.

We would like to give young students inspiration to be entrepreneurial, motivate them to do more, give them impulse to think and understand other cultures and the world around them much better.

Intern will conduct workshops in junior high and high schools in class of around 20 – 30 students. The topic of the workshops is about developing interests of studens – e.g.culture, traditions, history of intern’s country, world issues, entrepreneurship, science, etc.

It is a volunteer project. Its aim is to widespread cultural understanding, tolerance and respect for diversity thanks to work of great interns from different countries.

Volunteer will work from Monday to Friday for 6-8 hours but that duration is not the same at every school. Volunteer will change school every week. Volunteers will work in pairs.

Before arrival trainee is obliged to send us the presentation about topics which will be given at least 10 days before project’s starting date.

Accomodation is provided – volunteers will stay in student’s dormitory. Food is provided – one hot meal during working days.
